Art therapy consultations
Art therapy is a therapeutic approach in which creation is part of a process and a supportive relationship.
Images, colors, materials, gestures, sensations, and associations become tools to explore what you are experiencing, better understand certain behaviors, and mobilize your resources. Speech can accompany this work, but the experience does not rely solely on it.
The reasons for starting art therapy are very diverse and can overlap with those that lead one to consult a psychologist or psychotherapist. It may involve, for example, coping with depression or professional burnout, going through a period of change, better recognizing your emotions, exploring your identity or relationships, understanding certain behaviors, reconnecting with your sensations, taking a step back, or questioning your relationship with control and perfectionism.
No artistic experience is necessary: it is the process that counts, not the aesthetic quality of what is created.
Practical information
How does a session work?
A session generally includes a short time for discussion, a time for creation, and then a moment to welcome what has emerged and connect it with your experience and the path forward.

The photographs presented on this page were taken outside of consultations. Creations made during sessions remain confidential.
My approach
Based on what you bring to the session and the evolution of your journey, I ask you questions and propose adapted creative experiences. They may invite you to experiment, to take a different look at a situation, to delve deeper into a question, or to open up new paths.
I accompany you in observing the process, connecting what emerges with your lived experience, and developing what makes sense to you. I do not impose interpretations of your productions: we explore them based on your own associations. The support is built at your own pace, in a confidential, non-judgmental, and LGBTQIA+ friendly environment.
I am a certified art therapist after a three-year training program at the Institut Rhapsodie. My final thesis, titled "Art therapy and gender identity: for an inclusive and respectful practice," focused on how to build a framework and practice that are truly respectful and inclusive for all gender identities.
I also pay particular attention to the experiences of marginalized people and the effects that norms and discrimination can have on their daily lives as well as in the therapeutic relationship.
